Limited Edition Gerry Gee Junior and Geraldine Gee Dolls

Collectors Item Dolls
Special release of Gerry Gee Junior and Geraldine Gee Dolls made from the original master molds.

Manufacture of these molds started in 1958 based on Henry The Silent Salesman head from early in the 1930s.  This doll was referred to as The Pug and some 60,000 were made at the Sterne factory in Melbourne and at one stage Myer was selling up to 3,000 a week.  When the Gerry Gee Junior mold was created in the likeness of Gerry Gee, The Pug face then became the first Geraldine Gee (later on to be replaced with a more likeable face).  The differences between Gerry Gee Geraldine Gee were that she had no ears, a straight nose, and molded eyebrows.

In all, it is believed that there were 190,000 Gerry Gee dolls made over a 15 year period.  All are marked inside the head with a unique serial number.

    1. Hello Gordon Ross in approx 2010 my wife and a friend gave me one of your dolls for my birthday he had blonde curly hair, white shirt and blue vest , black pants and black shoes along with a booklet signed by you to me.
Sadly he was stolen in a home burglary recently along with a lot of electrical goods and computers etc the usual stuff.
Well to us we've lost a family member in that doll whom we affectionately named Gordon Rogs.
Well it's left a horrible feel with us and he's sadly missed.
If you know the doll I'm referring too I would like to know if you could do a replacement doll for me. He had always been cared for and held pride of place in my lounge room in a back lit locked glass display stand was frequently taken out and always a constant conversation topic where ever we took him.
I am quite upset over this theft as I'm sure you'd appreciate so could you please let me know if he can be replaced and the cost please.
It really was like losing a family member unbelievable how attached we all became to him and his personality.
      Kindest regards Vic
